Morehouse Baseball Standout Elijah Pinckney ’26 Selected for USA Basketball Foundation Torch Leadership Program
Elijah Pinckney ’26, a senior at Morehouse College and a key contributor to the Maroon Tigers baseball program, has been selected to join the USA Basketball Foundation Torch Leadership in Sport Mentoring Cohort — a highly competitive national initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of BIPOC leaders in the sports industry. The Torch Leadership in Sport Mentoring Program runs from September 2025 through May 2026 and offers participants:
Direct mentorship from USA Basketball executive staff
Access to industry leaders
In-person experiences focused on career development across the sports ecosystem
